uh think my springs only got me about 1.5 but its hard to tell.. but I'am very satisfied with the spring tire combonation. I think you will be to but an update to the trimming yes definately when it flexes the is some trimming needed but Oh well..
Not sure which is the 40mm lift but I just put 235/85r16 with ome 751 and 762's and clearance is good only had to chop the inside of the far aft quarter panel, so its not to much, and that was only a needed trim with the vehicle at about full flex, The tires will fit fine for normal driving.
