i had noticed in about june my 99D2 was drinking a whoole lot of coolant.. and has been through out the summer months... i would always top it off and keep coolant in it as well as i could.. there was 2 times i believe where the engine overheated and the red light came on... i did not drive it...

mattracks.com they have models that are 24-30 thousand for the d2. has anyone used them on a Rover??

I have steel wheels for the D2.... had them tightened after 500 mi and havent done it since.. its been about 1000 mi and i want to get those suckers tightened... my buddy has a torque wrench but i dont know what setting to use it on for the 99 D2... any info about torquing would be killer.:victory:

gota 99 D2.. my rear windows only go down half way:( I though this was a safari vehicle! you cant shoot photos out of the back windows.. is there some kind of child lock or something? how can i get my windows to go down all the way>> HEEEEELLP

I had my 90K service about 1000 mi ago and noticed that my coolant is almost EMPTY, about 1 inch in the bottom of the container.. Is this sketchy? is it leaking, why do i have such a little amount of coolant... What should i do??????

is it OK to switch a d2 w/ 100k to synthetic oil?? 104.000 to be exact... not sure if it runs on synthetic but want to switch over... should i or should i not. that is the question... THANKS HOMBRES

iv got a 99 d2 and want to start changing my own oil... synthetic i might ad.. is it hard to do? im pretty handy when it comes to that kind of stuff but the rover is new to me.... anything i sould look out for? is it ok to swich to synthetic???? thanks

iv got a 99 d2 with a 2 inch lift on 265/75/16's.. dont know too much about rovers and how they work inside.. love to offroad on semi gnar stuff.. nothing crazy though.. was wondering if it is bad for my truck to offroad with stock gearing and stock everyting etc.... any info would be killer...

i have heard that there is a chip avalible for the disco2 that gives you an aditional 50 horse power and beter gas mileage?? heard they drive real nice.. does anyone know about this choice computer chip>>> any info would be killer :eek4: PS.. how many horse power is a stock 99 D2?? anyone>

I was wondering if skidplates reduce drag and provide flotation in deep snow... it seems like they would help.. front axel and steering arm skids.. gas tank skid plate??? any thoughts??????

I have a 99 disco series 2 with 2 inch lift, With ACE. and was wondering if snow chains can be fitted on all four wheels??? it seems like this would help alot in deep snow and such.. any info would be killer!

Hello all, i just had to replace my MAFS and wanted to seal up the old rover to protect her from mud and water. I have heard that there is a drain hole in the airbox of a disco2 and wondering where it was. what to seal it up with and how would be great. also, any other mods to help the engine...

I drive a disco 2 and like to hit up the mud bogs every now and then. i now have to replace my MAFS because of it. does a snorkle help alot and does it affect how it drives in snowwy cold weather. any better gas milage. any info would be dope.
