110 -86 with 3,5 carb

hi!

You guys are used and experienced with V8 engines so i ask this: What to look after in -86 110 with carb fed Land Rover?

Im goo dat diesel engines ( owned past 20 years) but i useless with gasoline/gas engines.

overheating issues? how to spot an possible problem engine? how to spot serious problems from simple maintanen problems?

help me out...!

I have an 83 110 pick up with 3.5. It recently needed a new fan clutch to keep it cool. These are very simple engines that virtually any mechanic can work on. An 85 may have the lt85 five spped which is one of the better 5 speed tranny's.
