Hi, I'm Mike, I have a 1984 110. It is a grey market Rover...but I love it. I just blew a head gasket, so I am rebuilding the twin carburated 3.5. It's my first rebuild...but I am excited b/c I am putting it back together with a new intake manifold, carb, and cam..,should be fun. Do any of you guys have any idea where I could get headers for this motor in the US? I found them from a company called Rimmer Brothers in the UK, but they are going to be over 600 us dollars. That's a little pricey for me since I am just a poor college student. I just did the OME springs and shocks...and I have coil spacers on the way to make room for some 315/75r16's(but not too poor) so I can get a little better highway speeds as it is a 4 speed. Lots of other plans, I will keep you guys updated!

Hi Mike,

I just put a Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock 1404 Carb on my 130. It was a twin carb setup. I also just had a local mufler shop rebuild the exhaust from the manifolds all the way back for under $400. I noticed the biggest differance off road while rock crawling. Lots more torque it seems. On the highway you gain some extra oomph but it still aint a race car. If I were you I would dump the twin carb setup if it is possible. I went back and forth about getting hedders for it and in the end decided against it. My manifalds are being acid dipped and ceramic coated at Rewarder Headers as I write this. It is supposed to decrease manifold temps by 30%. They claim HP gains but I am not counting on it. My biggest reason for not getting the Headman Hedders was the crappy thin flange. The ceramic coating is costing me $140 for both manifolds and long after my truck has rotted and turned to rust my manifolds will still be standing. :p But in all seriosness the decrease in temps under the hood was my biggest reason for doing it. If you have any questions or want some pics let me know.

Headers...

What header from Hedman will fit my 110...I would be interested what that looks like. Thanks.

I'd stay away from the headers..... They warp tooooo quickly from all the heat. Leaks all the way around. Stick with the manifolds and have a custom exhaust bent up for ya...

I cancelled my order for the Heddmans from Summit.

I have the same setup in my 88 110, Go for what Kellymoe said, makes a tremendous difference in power. I would also advise against the headers. Also curious what cam did you put in it.

The Cam

I put in the crane with 260 intake, 270 exhaust. The part number is 890532. It's for a 64-67 buick V8. I haven't started it yet b/c I am still waiting on the carb, but I will let you guys know how it goes.
