Do we have any options? The tire selection for 17" rims is much better than 18" and 19".

If you have the V6 LR3 you can fit a 17 inch wheel. I dont believe there are any made for the correct bolt pattern and offset together. I have a set of 17 inch wheels on my V6 LR3 now and they are about 2 inches offset. Minimal rubbing while in standard (middle) ride height. None in off road mode. I cant put it into access mode if I plan on turning  . The reason being I dont think they will fit on the V8 model is the caliper size. Im not positive but I think that the calipers on the V8 are a hair larger disallowing fitment of a 17 inch rim? Not possitive though.

I told everyone I was going to have pictures posted and am doing my best. I have had my truck in the shop (having some parts fabricated for some hardcore off roading) for the past 2 weeks now. I will get them ASAP when I get my truck back.

There is a Land Rover 17" wheel available to fit the LR3. It's part #RRC002852MNH. It looks like the old Hurricane style 18" wheels. The problem is they retail for $405 a peice. They are a standard wheel in the rest of the world. Maybe you can find someone in England or Europe that is upgrading.

Hey Scott, I recently upgraded my V6 LR3's brake disk to one's from an HSE, and noticed a pretty good improvement in stopping power. Less effort required now. I am using 18" rims though.

I have seen the prelim photos of your parts. Looking good!

Thanks! They are almost done. As far as the 17 inch wheels. YES, i know that there are actual land rover wheels made but you CANNOT get them. If you do I will be extremely impressed. I tried for about a month and then gave up. Pics to be posted no later than Monday...I will try to take my computer with me this weekend to keep everyone up to date.

I thought you worked at a dealership. You can get them. I'm not sure why you would have to wait for a month to get them. Have your parts manager check availability of the wheels in Land Rover POS. They show IN STOCK in the warehouse. Retail $405.30 each.

The BB6 from Australia's Performance Alloy Wheels is available to fit the LR3 (if your brakes are the smaller rotors up front): http://www.performancewheels.com.au/4wd.htm

They are available in the US through a distributor in Arizonia. Contact:

Please note, the LR3 backspacing (offset) is 53P, but the largest offset that the BB6 comes in is 45p which is a backspacing of 158mm or 6.22 in. The difference is
.3 of an inch between that and a 53P.
