Can't beast a west coast truck. Looks like someone drilled holes right through the roof for the little basket though. Kind of a shame.
Wouldn't 87 be a 3.5, not a 3.9 as the ad states? Given the intake, someone may have swapped it. I always liked the very 80s early tach and speedo.

Yes, for sure 3.5 unless an engine swap as you mentioned. Also like the earlier tach / speedo layout as well. Officially the 3.9 was first in ‘89.
