1994 LWB gas filler door button being finicky

Sometimes it works fine other times the flap doesn’t open.
Thoughts?

In my '95 the button only actuates the flap when key is OFF. Other than that I would think bad actuator or electrical short somewhere.

Same on the ‘94. Yesterday it worked fine 5 times in a hour. Then stopped and now this morning works fine.

Having the same issue… anyone know the part number for the actuator for. ‘95 classic?
