Hi,
I posted this in another forum, but haven't got a lot of response. Maybe someone here can help. I have just bought a 1995 Discovery and love it very much. However, it has one quirk (well, 2 actually, but I'll get to that...) The speedometer reads correctly, however, the odometer doesn't. It reads about 1 km for every 2 I travel. I would have to go for another spin to see if it's more like 1.6, and then I might be talked into thinking the speedo reads km but the odometer reads miles, but I don't think so. Any ideas on what might be going on here? How can the speedo work but the odometer not? They both get theie signal from the speed pickup. I looked all through the manaul and can't seem to find anything about the odometer, only the speedometer. Any help much apppreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
Oh yeah, the second quirk is the 'park' on the windshield wipers doesn't work. They stop wherever you shut them off, instead of sweeping back to the 'rest' position and stopping. Weird.
