1996 Discovery SD - 5-Speed Manual - Low 79,000 miles
Wife says there are too many vehicles, something must go, my loss is your gain. Garaged, Alpine white, beige cloth interior. Very clean truck inside an out, no accident history, straight body, no rust. Truck includes many extras, including: Matching alloy wheel with full size matching spare, Land Rover Dog Guard, Land Rover CD-changer, Optima battery, MagnaCore 7.5 mm plug wires, NRP full stainless exhaust system, ARB (non-airbag) winch bumper with Superwinch X9 winch, Safari Gard stage II suspension with Fox Racing shocks and braided stainless steel brake lines, 5 Bridgestone 235/85 16 M/T's (50% tread, spare 100 %), gearing corrected for larger tires so no power loss, new front & rear brakes (~ 8,000 miles ago), transmission & transfer case (& clutch) replaced at 50,000 miles, after main shaft oiling issue ate the splines (cross drilled input gear in new transfer case).
Truck runs strong (sounds great), everything works, all Redline fluids (MTL in transmission) since I purchased it (30,000 miles), cooling & brake systems flushed last year (never overheats, even when towing a load with the air on). Minor Issues: Typical minor Discovery issues. Power steering line has a minor leak (pump and box are fine, I keep adding fluid), minor oil leaks (It's a Rover for crying out loud!), minor exhaust leak (ticking sound at idle and when you accelerate, can't hear it with the windows closed, which is why I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet, but I'm told it's an easy fix), and the tires could stand to be balanced. Asking price: $9,000.00
