We have a new to us 1998 Discovery. The dash lights did not work, so the dealer changed the lighting switch. Now we noticed the front amber parking lights do not light up. Instead, there is a small bulb within the headlight that glows, acting as parking lights. We never noticed whether the amber lights lit before, and the dealer states this is normal. That the amber lights next to the headlights do not light up unless the blinker is on.
Is this right?
