I picked up a non-running D1 to use the drivetrain/suspension/steering/etc for a project but after looking closer at the car it's pretty clean so I want to give it an opportunity to live on before I start tearing it down. I don't know the history of the car other than it was parked a few years ago due to a bad fuel pump. I pulled the pump yesterday and a new one is on order. I have no idea if it will run after replacing the pump or if it has any other issues.

Clearcoat on the hood is peeling and the roof is faded. The rest of the body is straight and fairly rust free. 5 seater SD model with 114k miles. Sunroof of the front seats, no middle row sunroof and no rear ac. Plastics/leather is in good shape. Battery is charging now so I don't know the condition of the electronics/window/etc.

Attached are some pics after it arrived the other day. Will take more pics later today and once the battery is charged will check the electronics.

$4k for an outright sale.
Will consider a rusty D1 +cash or a set of axles + cash
If you need parts, particularly the bigger ones, happy to sell those outright as well.

Located in Arlington, VA

If you part it I would really like to get the plastic trim under the seats and a few other interior parts.

If you decide to part it out I could use the front door cards, if they are not scorched brown on the top.
Also the surround that holds the speaker on the rear door. Thank you.

On the door cards, as long as the scorch damage isn’t cracking and is just darkening, I have had very good results painting them with interior paint. There is a paint company online that makes bahama beige.
