I have a CDL I pulled from an ‘04 that had obviously had a transfer case swap at some point as the CDL Bracket on the trans and the arm that attaches to the spindle weren’t attached to the end of the cable! Oh well 
The cables all move nicely and the CDL /range housing is in good shape. A little fab work and you’ll be in business.
I also have a full, complete CDL system, including every nut bolt and bracket, and the plaque on the dash. Looking for $350 on that.
Maybe buy both, fab some brackets and sell the other? Maybe your cable is bad and you need a spare? Let me know...
