2004 Lr3?

Were any of the LR3 made in 2004? I found one for sale in northern California for sale with 22500 miles that is selling really cheap. As per the owner the vehicle ahs never been wrecked or damaged. I know that my 1995 discovery says 1994 on the door badge. I have recived a reply from the seller if this is legit i will pay for the carfax report and have it checked out at the local LR dealer before I give him my money. thanks for the info.

I am with Wyatt. You can't get a 2004 DII, made in 03, with 22k on it for 14. Buyer beware!!!

steer clear of that one man, for starters its an 05 [as there were no 04s], the 8th to last digit of any vin gives the year code.. the last reported mileage to LR was 25,567, so if its reading 22k something doesnt jive..

also.. it has a clean carfax, but the last reported mileage was 8600... and it was a lease out of new jersey. there isnt much else that can be checked on the background. but, with that said, for $14k maybe its worth the risk.. thats your call

the odometer discrepency is the bigger concern..

thats what i thought the odomiter doesnt match up with what he has told me. his newast email says it in nj and he would ship it to my house for inspection but only with 15 % down thats what is worrying me. now if he would ship it with nothing down ill pay it for sure. lol I do think it is a scam such a shame.

take a pass man, theres plenty of real lr3s that dont require $2100 to do an inspection.. good luck

THanks that is my thought I told him if I he sends it to my house in the shape that its in ill buy if for sure but i told him there is no way ill pay for it not seeing it in person.
