2006 Lr3 Se

[Hollywood LR3]

Happy New Year ,
I picked up a 2006 LR3 and am loving it it does not have the Xenon headlights ... I was wondering if i pick up a new set would it be plug and play ?

I don't see why it wouldn't be, the only thing I can think of an LR3 having that controls the head lights is the switch and in the menu where you select the length of time the "follow me home" lights stay on. That shouldn't make a difference for each set of lights.

Best bet would be to ask this question on disco3.co.uk, or better yet, do a search on that site first, as a few people have made the conversion I think.

If the LR factory option isn't a plug and play option, you can pick up an HID conversion kit on eBay that just hooks up instead of the factory bulb and that will let you use the "follow me home" function just fine as it's a bulb and ballast replacing the regular bulb, the computer doesn't know it's there.
