3" Lift Shocks

Im currently running 2" Big Blue springs and want to go with either a OME or Rovertym 3" spring. Will the LWB Bilsteins be able to work with this (I think they are longer than non-LWB shocks)? Or will I need longer shocks? Or would lowered rear shock mounts help me.
Thanks

Assuming that the RR front setup is the same as the Discovery, OME makes longer pin / pin shocks that work well on the front. I can't remember the number, but I think there's a write up on Expedition Exchange.

True, I think they are Land Cruiser shocks and have differnt valving. I don't know how stable it would feel with a soft long spring like the Big Blues. I'd consult John at Expedition Exchange.

I had Big blues 3" and OME shocks on my Range Rover and I loved the ride. I had no accessories either so they didn't sag. I now have a stock Disco1 again and I can't believe how shitty the ride is, it soaks up nothing.

That will change soon. :)

My 2" BB's sag real bad in the front. My 235/85's are constantly hitting the fenders (when wheelin'). I dont even have winch/bumper, so Im not sure what happened there. Otherwise they ride nice and articulate pretty well.

Rob, he mentioned that he was looking at getting either OME or Rovertym springs. That's why I recommended the OME N73 front shocks.

Here's my setup on the Disco:

Front: N73 shocks with 764 springs (3") with the rubber shock tower rings
Rear: N44 shocks (using 2" lowered mounts & retainers) with 762 springs with 1.5" spacers.

I'm extremely pleased with the setup. I get decent flex and a great ride compared to what I had before (Rancho shocks, 751 front springs and 762 rear, cones) Those Ranchos are wonderful for about 1,000 miles. :D

lowered rear shock mounts, ome shocks and ome springs... i have ltr's and can't complain.
it's all good. for the lowered shock mounts... you'll need to retain your springs.
