Chasing down a tick and removed the rocker arm assembly to find what is pictured.
5k miles on new rocker arms.
The one valve “tab” was actually broken off the arm. The wear of the other ones just doesn’t seem right to me yet this is my first rodeo as former IMG_4813.jpegIMG_4817.jpegrepair performed by my shop.
Obviously have to renew the one yet thoughts on replacing the others.
Thx.

Take a pocket screw driver and put it in the oil hole at the pushrod end. Gently turn the insert in the aluminum arm. If it turns in the arm replace it. It looks like those arms are not correctly installed. They are labeled as right and left, but each bank gets 4 of each. Looks like someone put all the rights on the right bank.

Thanks! Now that I look more closely you’re right! Since its apart will just redo it with new rocker arms and push rods.
Any recommendation on steel vs aluminum rocker arms?
Appreciate it.
