Here is my day - She is burning oil not bad you can smell it and the exhaust has a light tint to it - and most all the plugs have oil on them. She has been sitting unused for at least a 1 year (maybe longer) and under acceleration / high revs there is a vibration it's like the crankshaft is out of balance - if there is such a thing. I attribute it to bad gas and dirty injectors - trying to run fuel and injector cleaner through it.
So I have my theories - whats yours? Thanks - Cheers!

I am not sure a year is long enough to do it but I have had long sitting engines suffer from what I believe are piston rings that get stuck and after a fair amount of driving loosen up. I have one that was left sitting for over 10 years. It ran a little rough and burned oil for a about 500-750 miles but completely recovered. I experienced misfire codes for around the first couple hundred miles. Before I ran it I replaced all the injectors, spark plugs, and plug wires. So, I knew right away that wasn’t the issue. I didn’t do a compression test as I was pretty sure I had low compression on at least a couple cylinders.

Spark plugs and wires are fairly inexpensive and the injectors I use are about $200. It runs great now and uses no oil. The engine also only had about 26,000 miles at that time.
