This is the mount area for the radiator support. The metal tab for the bracket bolt "nut" is pretty thick and didnt seem to do much when pounding it with a bug punch and drill hammer.

Do I just keep hitting it or is there a better way?

I don't do body work but it looks like your moving it. The hack in me says get that wire harness out of harms way and hit it with a bigger hammer. If you unwrap the tape on that harness and have a bunch of damage, now would be the time to replace that.

Pretty sure the harness is good. No airbag deploy or any warning lights.

The 2 radiator supports took the brunt of the hit which was a low speed ice slide into a tow hitch.

The spot welds and that bent area circled is pretty much the only damage that didnt unbolt.
