AMK compressor dryer service

My AMK compressor is 6 years/40K miles old. I don't think it's ever been serviced. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where it's 100% humidity 80% of the time. What is the best kit to service the dryer? I see Lucky 8 has a new dryer unit. Is there an alternative I might consider? Just starting to look into this so haven't done much research yet. Presumably the compressor has to be removed for a dryer service (can't be done in situ)?

I think I would just leave that one alone till it really fails. I'm not sure that dryer would fit a AMK compressor either. It gets confusing to match that stuff up cause probably half the cars out there with AMK comressors had Hitachi units per the VIN.

Easy enough, but I was hoping a little preventative maintenance could prolong the life of the compressor.

There’s a guy on here who was going to do a little preventative maintenance on his transmission.
If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
