Anti lock brakes

My anti lock brake light went on a couple of days ago, and recently the anti lock brakes have been randomly pulsating for about 10-15 seconds when I brake, i just had my valve cover gaskets replaced and then this happened. Any input would be great

Could be lot's of things. For me, it started around 130K mi. on my 96. ABS sensors can fail to reset properly causing the system to freak out at the worst times. One of my sensors is faulty and triggers prematurely. Before I had my rotors replaced it was worse. It almost caused me to rear-end someone at a light. I pulled the fuse and the braking was much more predictable. I suggest you do the same until you check out the sensors and your other components. Be safe.
