I can't exactly answer the specific details you are looking for, but I put the 2" big blue springs on mine and I love the ride with those and ProComp 9000's. No sag so far.

i can't offer any comparative info, but i do have the HD3" RTE springs, and with sliders bumpers and all my crap, the thing sits at more than a 3" lift....
with that said, the rear seem a bit soft for my liking though, i wish there was a 3" spring with the spring rate of the OME 763... i don't care much for spacers...

What shock are you running Marc? I had the same issue with the OME HD's and n76's. I'm kinda digging these Bilistines 7100's with the 380*/100 valving.

ASU, go RTE.

I also have the 2" BigBlues for over a year. They have sagged beyond belief, especially in the front. I dont have a winch/bumper or sliders. But they do ride well and do flex nicely offroad.
I think I would recommend the RTE or OME's as opposed to the BB's..

RTE last longer with out sag plus i'd say RTE would be more willing to help you if you had any problems with the spring. Doesn't RTE also have some type of warranty?

Yea, un-like other vendors, RTE has always done people right, from what I Have heard. It's like the "old style" springs John sold. Steve basically ate the cost to replace those springs.

Krawler, you may look at Independence Hummer for a used D2. They have a site...They had what looked like a nice D2 for a descent price.

Nothing against either RTE or BB, but OMEs are really great and are off the shelf for any fixing/custom adaptation...the number of springs they produce and the few (there have been some) complaints show for a very low margin of error...you won't be wrong going in that direction...

For 3" you'll ned the 764 for the front (Driver's Side on both sides of the truck, talk to EE) and the rear 762 for variable load capacity or 763 for heavy loads...with a 3/4" spacer on the rear. Nice combo...

Krawler, Ask for Jessie Spindler. Tell him that Ken Kygers step-son (not by choice) with the Land Rover told you to call. He a cool Mo-fo, and may cut you a deal if you are buying stright out.

Dan,

i'm running 11" fox remote res. pro series 2 shocks valved @ 85/90 front and 95/105 rear.
those are fox's valving numbers, which equates to about a 358/122 front and 375/146 rear in the measurement scale that Bilstein uses....and yes i loooveee these shocks!

oh, in my pervious post, i stated that my rears were a little soft. i meant soft as they squat with a heavy load and not soft as in compression/rebound values, which a good shock will compensate for...

thanks for the info, i guess i will go with the rte. i was originally going to go with the ome 3" setup but decided i would rather have a 3" spring so i could have the option of adding spacers later
