I had an aftermarket cd player with the altered vw adapter and i decided to but the stock unit back in. Well when i did that the light around the ignition, clock and cd play display began to blink and at night it was really annoying. Anyone have this problem. Could it be a bad ground? Any help would be appreciated

I know in my 03 I used the VW plug but had to redirect a few wires for it to work. Having done this I ran the plug inline so I could alway pull it out if I needed to go back to my stock radio. Maybe you'll need to redirect some wires back to stock in order for your radio to work properly?
