Got back from a nice camping trip the other week. We hit some nice trails and on one of the trail I crossed over a log that broke apart under the weaight of the Rover ;) After I crossed the log the Rovcer started to Beep and a ABS Fault and Traction Control Failure appeared on the Dash and the warning lights came on. I have tested the ABS (Slammed on Brakes at 40MPH) and it seems to work fine. I did a quick search and someone had mention a possible ABS sensor for their DII caused a similiar problem. Could this be the reason that my Rover beeps at me everytime I start her up now. I figured it might be a sensor but is there a way to tell which one it is? I have a '95 RR 4.0 by the way which has OME springs for a nice lift w/ 31" on it.

Thanks,

Rhett

Crawl under and check each sensor, look for a wire going into the hub that will be where the sensor is located. Look for any damaged wiring and try to wiggle and push to reseat the sensor. Could just be a sensor knocked loose and needing reseating. If there is a bad sensor, there is no way to know which on it is without bringing it to a shop with the proper diagnostic equipment.

Your the man Alan. Finally took the time to under the Rover today and checked each sensor. The cable for the drivers front was cut in half, not sure how it happned because the covering for the abs sensor is really tuff. Either way i spliced it back together and sure enough no more beeps. Thanks again Alan :)
