Can The Steel Spare Wheel Be Used Daily or Offroad?

I have 4 steel spare wheels and am thinking of painting them black or white and running them on my Discovery 1.

I like the way they look but cannot find information on the load or speed rating, not even sure if they will balance correctly.
Has anyone tried this?

The only thing I have found yet is this photo:

No kidding. Well thanks everyone that’s a big help - i had no idea they were a viable wheel to use. I might look into lug nut options and see how they work out. I’d like to experience off-roading / trail driving so it would definitely help to use the spare wheels i have. Just need one more!

I have one I’d be happy to let go.

I'm noticing today in that photo I posted there are black center caps on those wheels - anyone know where to find something like that?
If not does running them without a center cap cause any issue?

I think those are just the dust covers on the hubs. I’ve never seen center caps for the steel wheels. As such, there is nothing wrong with running without center caps.

Rovers North may have the center caps. I’ve seen them for sale new recently.
Thank you, I didn't see any online, but I'll keep looking, I'm sure something is out there. What size wheels and type of lift (if any) do you have on the green Discovery in your profile? Looks really nice.

Hey. Thanks for the thoughts. It’s 2” of lift with 245/75’s. I’d like to go a bit bigger but that set up has really been there for all I have needed off road. There’s a better pic of it next to the problem child. lol ish.
