Can you remove the lighter socket without removing the whole center console?

The title says it all - I need to get to the wiring connectors on the back, but was hoping I wouldn't need to remove the whole center console to do so. 2004 D2.

Nope. It's not that bad though, especially after you've done it 100 times or so!

Just be careful of the screws holding the front end down, ahead of the transfer case lever. The plastic around them breaks very easily.
