Most of the ARB stuff is priced very competitive with in a few dollars. Your quote for a new snorkel is not a bad price but keep in mind some other food for thought.
Look for a vendor close to my home to save on shipping?
((Check the Links on this site))
Some of the smaller vendors make up the discounts they give with higher shipping and handling charges, no crime there just business.

Check for stock on hand most ARB reseller?s stock lockers and smaller stuff but drop-ship larger items from ARBUSA.

I believe there still in Seattle and sometimes you may have to wait 6 to 8 weeks if NIS. The next container from Australia always seems to be out 4 to 6 weeks.

The last ARB product i bought I had to wait 10 weeks for a Roof Rack,
I was not a happy camper and then parts were damaged and it was a fight getting replacements, at that time there was very poor customer service....

Crap, my mistake, I read it wrong. But if they don't have them at some point, that is the second cheapest.

Roversnorth.com and roveraccessories.com are the only ones that carry the mantec for about the same price $399. So, depending on what coast you are in, check them out.
ARB is polyethelene "plastic" very durable and outside the fender vs. Mantec metal and inside the fender.
