I just finished the engine rebuild, and the lift. The suspension still needs a little bit of work, just need to extend the rear shock with the old barrel nut and bolt trick, and it should be good to go. The new cam, intake, carb, and ported exhaust valves are so sweet! It has about a 1/3 more power! I love the landy, it is a GREAT rover, and I would not trade it for anything! Check out the pics! What do you guys think?

Good question...

I stand on the tire to get the skis/boards up and down, and since I seat so many people and I am in college I NEVER have to pay for gas to get to the mountain. The tires are 235/85r16's, and they are for sale with the wheels...The cam is the Crane #890531, 260 intake, 270 exhaust.

good looking truck, looks pretty clean, I was wondering about the skis also, need a damn step ladder, now you need some meat on that truck. I would like to know more about that cam, where did you get the information that it was the correct one to use? I put the edelbrock intake and carb on mine also. You can see my skinnies in the garage in the background.

More info...

Aaron-I sure do need some meat on there, just like I need money(in college)...What size tires did you go with. I have over 3 inches of lift now front and rear, im pretty much decided on 315/75r16's...thats about what yours looks like. i actually used an offenhauser intake and a holley carb. I got it all through the guy that owns West coast British, Michael Green. (http://www.offroadexperience.com/wcb/) He can send the right stuff out to you b/c you need the new cam gear and crank gear as well. The cam made such a big difference, it is soooo much better throughout the rpm band now, it sounds really mean now too!

Mike,

Truck looks very good. Great color scheme.

Do yourself and the truck a favor and take all those stickers off it.
I think you'll be pleased with how clean looking the result will be.

Mike,

The cam is the next upgrade on mine. I have no idea how many original miles are on it but i am sure it is more than the 164k it shows. I will look into the cran cam.

I ordered a bunch of parts from RPI today, including their piper cam and timing chain kit, they said I should pick up 15-20 hp from the complete change. The crane cam requires slightly higher compression, and I didn't want to change the pistons out.

OME 751 and N115 in the front 755 and n44 in the rear, no trailing arms yet. currently I am rebuilding the engine with some parts I ordered from RPI like the piper cam , and JP timing gear and chain, I put the edelbrock carb and intake on it, I am decking the heads and block. Hope to have it done in the next two weeks.
