Door lock not working

The passenger side front door locks with the remote control,but it doesnt unlock, the lock pops up in the door but it doesnt unlatch the release. I need to either use the key in the door or pop the lock on the door a few times from the inside and it releases...any ideas?

I just encountered the same problem. My remote doesn't work anymore so I use the keys to unlock. When I unlock from the drivers side all doors open except the drivers. I lock it again and then unlock. This time it will open but the alarm goes off. So I lock it again and then unlock and this time it works. Same every time for the last couple of days. I just finally had time to ask the experts here what is going on...?
