Driver's side parking lamp out???

I have a 1996 D1. Today I noticed the driver's side parking lamp is not working. All the other electical components function fine to include the turn signal on that side. I checked all the fuses and pulled the lamp out. Fuses are good and the visual inspection showed nothing wrong. I have a volt meter but in all honesty do not know how to use it. I have the manual (that really did not help) if some one has a good reference area that I might have over looked. Any help solving this would be great.

Commonest problem is the connector inside the bulbholder losing contact with the bulb. Solution, pull connector out a little so bulb actually connects with it.

If that was the problem wouldn't the turn signal not work either? I pulled off the bulb and cleaned the contacts. No luck

I'm having the same issues on both on my '98. Both turn signals and hazards work but not the parking lights. Any ideas?

The park lamps have nothing to do with your turn signals or hazards.
I'd try banging in a new park lamp
