Engine Troubles??

I had a '03 SE3 and loved it. My wife totaled it (she was fine) with only about 20K miles on it. I heard the engines are toast with slipped cylinder sleeves at 50K-100K. There is SE3 on craigslist for $5,000 that I am considering. Am I crazy??

Let me know if you know this and/or have experienced it. Also does anyone know if the euro TD4 engine is an easy swap?

Man these things are a hit or miss. Some can get up to over 100k on them and some barley hit 50k. Just look at ebay you will be surprised at some of the milage they get. Hell go buy another one. Dont pay premium for it cause they are giving these away. Get at a dealer and get a WARRENTY......
