Howdy there,

My exhast pipe just finally rusted thru on my 96 discovery, and I'm looking for a performance system that will make 'er hum a bit more. Anyone got any suggestions? I have seen the Borola exhast but not sure if there are more performance options. Thanks for yer imput.

Why is it that there are several companies which make complete exhaust systems for every rover ever made, including OBDII Disco1's, but nobody makes one for the series II disco? I mean the shape is very similar, and the design requirements have got to be nearly the same. I would love to be able to buy a complete bolt up exhaust including the cats, and y-pipe (and headers would be nice as well while we are at it). Now NRP is making the rear muffler, why not the whole thing!?

Oh well....

I'd talk to some local shops. We have a guy down the street who does custom work that is awesome and about 1/3 the price of the NRP. If they hang up after you mention "Land" and don't get "Rover" out of your mouth, keep calling around.

My mechanic installed a Flowmaster on my D1. It's a bit loud, but you can really tell a difference in the performance. Just a suggestion.

I'm with fivespddisco. If you wheel at all you'll probably catch the first rock with the fancy stainless system. Sounds like you know someone who does exhaust work. Have him make you one. I did, worked out great and made the modifications I wanted. Good luck.

i've got a flowmaster and like it, i cut off the resinator for a little more sounds. the flowmaster ran me like 95 bucks too, another plus. also, if your willing i would just straight pipe it. depending on where you live.
