Faulty Drivers Side Mirror - Help )

I have a drivers side mirror that when I back up gets "stuck" when it dips to allow you to look at where your backing up.

I remember at one point someone posted a way to disable the "dip" feature when you reverse. Anyone know how this works?

Thanks!

To disable it, you have to do something with the seat memory buttons & maybe the mirror controls, but I don't remember the exact procedure. Have you looked in the owner's manual?

Put the car in reverse, then get the mirror set where you want it (and the seat)-- in this case, not dipping, and then set the seat memory position.
I have had this happen to a car at work, and your mirror motor is bad and will need to be replaced. If you are in warranty, get it done. If not, prepare yourself for it.
