It does not play MP3's - it doesn't play CD's. It has a tape deck in it. I'm not sure if it will wire up to a D1.
I'm surprised the '04's ship with tape decks.
My 99 has a tape deck and I never use it. Thanks anyway.

I'll look when I get home to make sure, but from memory it does not. It has the sockets for the stock wiring harness.
