I was driving by a large empty lot that is being graded and such for building some sort of warehouse - its on Marine Drive, near Interlachen Lane, if you live in Portland - anyway, I have always liked the look of the dirt down there. Now I know better, because I looked down into the field and noticed a lifted - probably 30-33" tires - 4Runner in the mud. No, not just in the mud, absolutely buried up to the doors. In fact, the mud was so thick I couldn't quite make out his tire tracks in the mud behind him. It looked like he had been dropped their by a chopper. The sad thing is that he really had another 150-200 feet of this mud to go; about the same behind him; and a good 50 feet on either side - he was really stuck.
