Good mechanic in Chicago metro?

Can someone please recommend a good mechanic in Chicago metro besides dealerships? I need my 96 Disco trans rebuilt ASAP, and absolutely cannot pay dealer rates.

I get an occasional flyer from Atlantic British that gives recommendations for mechanics. The one I just got is:

I've never used them, so I can't give a personal recommendation.
