Heated Windwscreen and Registration stickers

According to the owners manual you should not put stickers on or scrape the heated windscreen. In NY that is where they want us to put all of our tags, both for DMV and offroad permits.

Are the elements on the inside of the screen or are they imbeded ? What do you guys do with the yearly stickers that need to be replaced ?

Are you Suuuuuuuure? I think that just goes for the rear window defroster elements and the side radio windows. The elements are completely embedded in the front windscreen, so you're just putting stickers on glass, not on the elements themselves.

That was the question I was asking. The manual for the 2004 has the description of the front & rear glass on the same page. On the bottom there is the warning about affixing stickers.

Re-reading it, it would seem the warning applies only to the rear window. But I thought it was a good idea to post to the group & ask. Thanks for the help!
