I had heard of the Junker airplane but had no idea that it ran such a cool engine. Now a company called Achates is starting to produce a smaller version for automobiles. I think it’s pretty exciting. If it pans out I wouldn’t mind powering a Rover with one of those.

That article is two years old. I wonder what (if anything) has happened to that engine since. It certainly sounds promising on paper.

Lol. That’s funny. Apparently I don’t crack out surfing the Internet enough. I am the last to know anything. It does look promising. I wonder how reliable the aircraft engine was. I would think reliability would be important on a plane.

Applications
