Injector to Rail Connection

I installed a new rail to replace the rusty original one and I cant remember how the injector clip goes on the injector.. There are like 3 slots (see pic) that the clip can go into. I fitted the rail with the injectors uncliped, and they move up and down alot. Is this right?

I think you are right, most likely the groove that's shown in the picture.

I'm going to replace my injector and rail this weekend. I'll take pictuers of the factory setup when I take them off.

btw, are you going to the PA swap meeting this Sat?

I'm just wondering if you have refit the clip on the new injector and rail?

If not, are there any fuel leaks?

Yeah I used the center groove like you pointed out above. No leaks!
