This is the 3rd time it has been listed as it doesnt hit the reserve. I spoke with Nancy at LVLR and they want a minimum of 60K!!

All of those mods can be done for around 7K. But it does look good.

The rear tire mount really improves the look of the LR3!

Yeah...I guess, but it's too bad it's on the wrong side. It's way easier to load things into the back if the tire swung out towards the street, away from the curb. Plus, I love the visability out the right rear conrner of the truck. That tire location totally eliminates that benefit.

If the tire carrier was on the left, you'd have the best of everything. Just would need to move the licesene plate to the outside of the tire.

I like the Toyo OC A/T's, as I have had good experiences with this tire in the past. I know it has been stated here that they do not rub, with no cutting needed; but I would love to confirm this in the flesh. They don't mess with the electronics either, given the increase in diameter?

I like the ARB too, but mine's leased.

I don't understand why LR didn't make this "factory"? Not a major engineering issue. I have Toyo OC A/T 285/65/18R and get no rub, no cutting needed and no electrical issues. That LR3 in Vegas I got Nancy down to 49k. I didn't like that they sprayed the aluminum alloys though. I prefer my Hannibal rack over the factory rack. But still a nice rig.

It says that the alloys are powdercoated. I don't think a dealer would ever "rattle-can" brand new wheels. LR dealers should offer the external tire carrier on all LR3's. Looks great.
