Is it Possible to Clean Stepper Motor

HeyAll,

Not only is the Green Meanie stuck in Park, but I now cannot start the blinking thing. I have fuel, it appears all the way to the stepper motor which makes a strange whining sound on turning on the ignition. If the stepper is the problem can I remove and clean the part.

yes, Stepper motors can be cleaned nad typically with good results.

Will the tuck start if you just push lightly on the throttle, just enough to open the thrpttle plate?? If not, it is not the stepper.
Yes it can be cleaned if that is the problem, remove and clean it out with carb spray.
