the 285/60x18 will snugly fit without airing down if you remove the fiberglass shield -- however, I wonder if this sheild is a good thing to keep due reflect heat away from the tire.
I can't see how the stock shield would remain though after one trail trip, or even a tricky curb departure ;)

I took mine off to keep from tearing it off with other parts.

265/65 is just about the same size but maybe 1/4" taller and I have not tried it one mine. I only know the 285/60 will fit.

You know you would love to use the rear tire carrier instead so you can actually get to the spare if needed on the trail....that is without lifting the car or emptying all your gear from the boot.
