1995 Range Rover 4.0SE with rare factory "electric blue" paint. I have replaced the quirky air suspension with a completely custom coil spring set-up using OME coils for a 4 1/2" lift, Koni shocks on all four corners, and a sway bar disconnect up front. I trimmed the bumper covers, and made an aluminum skid plate in the front. I also relocated the fog lamps into the front bumper for a smooth look, and more clearance. The tires are Firestone Destination M/T 265/75R16 (32"). The lift and the tires have less than 3,000 miles on them, and I have receipts! The truck is loaded (as all Range Rovers are) with a tan leather interior, all power options, heated seats, factory CD/CD changer/cassette, climate control, glass moonroof, etc... I have added a third row seat in the rear, that is removable if you choose, The only reason that we are selling the truck is that we have outgrown it (we have 4 children), and need a larger vehicle. The vehicle has a clean CARFAX report which I can fax if needed. It has had no accidents reported, and has no rust.

The paint is original, and in nice shape. We get comments on the truck all the time, however there are some stone chips, and very slight fading on portions of the hood. The leather interior is in nice shape with one crack (about 2" long) on the side of the driver's seat and some wear on the passenger seat (see photos). The arm rests are showing wear, and starting to split at the seams a little. There are some miscellaneous wear-and-tear items consistant with a 10 year old vehicle. but as you can see on the photos, it is in nice shape overall.

All power options work with the quirky exception of the climate control unit, which has an "error code" showing. I had to wire a switch to supply power to the A/C compressor (this is evidently the problem with the control unit) so the A/C works fine The fan switch, temperature controls, etc... are working well. The heat comes out of the driver's side vents only, but heats the truck up fine (we live at 7,500 ft elevation in the snow). This is due to a blend motor not working, which switches the air temperature to the vents. The CD changer has been working intermittently, but I have not looked into it. I want to disclose anything that I know about the truck, but please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

You will likely not see another Rover like this. I searched for a long time to find a clean, rust-free 4.0 in this color. With the coil spring suspension, you get the complete reliability and simplicity. The ride is nice, and it still handles well. I have another set of Black Dog coil springs (new in the box) that will go with the truck. They provide about 2" of lift instead of the 4 1/2" of lift on it now. I have a lot of money and time tied into the truck and we hate to have to sell it, but we absolutely need a larger vehicle at this time. While the truck is not perfect, it is in good condition for a 10 year old vehicle. It has been maintained well, and comes with (2) factory remotes/switchblade keys.

I will place two links below with additional photos of the truck, but they really don't do the color much justice!

The truck is located in Flagstaff, Arizona (about 2 hours north of Phoenix). I am willing to ship the truck at the buyers expense, or you can pick the truck up in Flagstaff. I have the clear, lien-free title in hand ready to transfer to the new owner. As it is a used vehicle, there are no warranties expressed or implied, and the vehicle is sold as-is.

$7,500.00

No rust - If you want any specifis pics, just let me know. I have owned my share of Rovers, and (as I said) I looked for a long time to find a clean, rust free P38 to start with.

engine looks clean in the pics

what's it really like? any wheezing? any leaks? are we getting tired at 130k miles?

what's it going to take to undo the AC bypass switch and fix the climate control? any ideas? anyone? $500? $1000?

nice truck....I like it. Good color. I'm in Scottsdale. May be in Flag this coming weekend for a little hike up Humphreys. If I am, I'll give you a call and check this thing out in person. Let's continue the discussion.

The truck is very clean. I built it for my wife, and it has not been wheeled much at all as I have a heavily built crawler that I wheel. The undercarriage is super clean, and besides the occasional "marking it's spot", there are no real oil leaks to speak of. It runs great, and has been maintained well. It doesn't seem to be getting "tired" at all at 130k miles. As stated, we are only selling as we need a larger vehicle. I had planned on keeping this vehicle for a long time (hence doing the coil swap/tires, etc... $2,000+/3,000 miles ago), but things change.

To "undo" the A/C bypass switch, and correct the issue, you have to replace the climate control unit. There's one on Ebay now with a Buy-it-Now of $235.00. It takes 15 minutes to plug it in.

I have a local buyer (who I have known for years) very interested and I will know early in the week if he will be buying it. I'll post with an update early next week. I'm not too flexible on the price as I currently have 3 offers over $7,000.00 from Ebay.

It's on Ebay as wellnow. I have to sell this ASAP as I have already purchased a replacement vehicle for my wife. Again, with the coil swap, tires, and Koni's I have over $2,000.00 in parts alone with less than 3,000 miles on them! Here's your chance to get a sweet lifted P38 for a great price!
