little dash lights R+R 1995 LWB

How do you get the little switch lights out? I tried to do a 1/4 turn, tried a half, tried a full turn, got crunching noises but the little lights won't come out.

They snap in, the panel itself comes off then you can see it. I will try to post up a pic tonight

I can't get them out. I am talking about the center pod switches, with the fog light, cruise, defrost..etc...

You have to carefully turn and pry them out. I remember breaking some of them awhile back.
Its a real PITA. Good luck!
