LR3 Light Mounting on OEM Rack

Total lighting Noob here....doing research for a friend...

I'm in need of advice for mounting some Hella's (either Rallye 4000's or FF1000's) on the OEM roof rack. Whats the most popular/practical way to mount them?

I tried answering this in detail, but my connection timed out. You can download instructions for mouting the front A-frame mounted driving lights from LR's Global Technical Resource website. It's 99 steps of an exceptionally difficult looking process. I swear they purposely invented the most laborious way to connect lights that one could possibly imagine.
