Lr4 ????

Well, the dealer has the LR3 brochures out now.

I went to the web site and got interested in the G4 comp stuff and was wondering if anyone has an idea about what the "all new vehicle" will be that they are planning on having compete in the G4 comp?

-Baby Range Rover? (not really all new, but better than the LR3 pig)
-Discontinue the Defender name and introduce the LR4?
-Or, something that actually is "all new?"

My impression was that the "all new vehicle" was the Range Rover Sport. Also called the baby range rover, that is being built on the Disco3 chassis but without any 7-seat option, and looks similar to the Range Rover. Why they couldn't come up with a new name instead of using the Range Rover name I don't know, maybe so that people who can't afford the real Range Rover still can tell their friends that have a Rangie.? My understanding is that defender name will continue to be used even on the new replacement model, which won't be out for several years.


BTW - I don't claim to know all of this for sure, just what I thought I had picked up, so if I am wrong, don't hate me.
