Maxtrax Ladder Mounts

Has anyone made a mount to attach their maxtrax to a rear ladder on a Discovery? Thoughts on how it may be best/easiest to do this? Forget the mounts and go with ratchet straps?

Not sure I would like them blocking the window. Should be easy to do.

Those things are bulky and comparatively light so a roof rack seems like a good spot for them.
