with a camber/caster gauge.

the down side is once you get the measurements, you'll fine that the castor is only adjustable by bigger/smaller springs, corrected radius arms, or a 3-link front end.
(i.e. castor is not adjustable on these vehicles)
but the gauge will give you an idea as to where you are at.
or for $20 go to an alignment shop and have them check it for you.

I thought that you could get modified swivel balls to make the "correct" correction.

QT Services in the UK manufacture castor corrected front radius arms to correct the castor on anything with up to 4in of lift. These are brand new fabricated radius arms, rather than the 'cutting and shutting' of the original arms preferred by some other companies.

Keep in mind that with the caster corrected radius arms with a lift you will probably run into driveline issues. If the caster is set with the new arms to the original spec and you have a 3"-4" lift, the pinion angle will be too low for a DC front driveshaft to work properly.

The best bet would be to install the lift, put the new driveshaft on & measure the angles on the pinion and driveshaft. Then have the new arms made to get the pinion angle corrected so that the pinion angle is the same as the driveshaft (i.e. there is no angle on the ujoint).

I've got the lift, 3link, and drive shafts. I just don't trust the local alignment shop. I had it aligned this weekend and I am concerned that the casor is a bit heavy (too positive). I was just trying to find a way to double check thier work. Thanks for the suggestions.

Alignment shop can only adjust toe-in/out. They cannot make castor adjustments without exercising some of the items discussed above.
