Had one on my own for 30 minutes yesterday and gotta tell you its a good thing I don't want to spend that kind of money cos this feels great on the road. quick, great brakes, quieter, smoother etc etc
yeah, I test drove one yesterday and its a big improvement over the Disco II in terms of smoothness, design and build quality.
they moved way up in class too with price. SE and HSE models start at around 45k and 50k respectively but with so many options available price moves up even higher real quick. The SE I test drove was stickered at 52K! An HSE was at 59K!
Very good SUV though just not for the hard core off-roader looking to do mods such as a lift with bigger tires...
I was with a group of 40 plus Rovers yesterday that included an LR3. It held up real well and did everything we did, mud, rock gardens and the trails without any problems. Pretty impressive but way to dress up to get dirty.
And yes, it drive great even off the road.
