This summer I've bought this 74 Range in Switzerland. It has been disassembled by a previous owner, but is more or less complete and in good condition. It's a lot of work until it will be back on the road, but I love it.
If you want to see pictures, look at

What do you think?

@Ricky: Nonono. Non modified 30 year old Rangies are hard to find nowadays. I want to keep it original.

@Robert: Thanks for the comment. Yes, she (?) is sexy indeed. Gonna find a name for her. What about Helen. Helen Wheels. :D

It's amazing how little rust it has for the age.

It served most of it's life as a fire tender at a company's fire department. (Hilti/Liechtenstein). The odometer says 76000 km (50000 miles) and from the state of the engine and other components I would say this could be true. Unfortunetely it was sold later to a contractor and had to work at building sites carrying spares and fuel for the machines, so the panels took a lot of beating. But it is said that because of the heavy snow, they did not work in wintertime. It seems it never was exposed to salt.

My new sills are in. Progress is very slowly. I'll try to rebuild the Engine during winter.

This is what it should look like when finished:
