NRP Exhaust issue solved

The NRP exhaust on my '88 Rangie hung low right from the get go...it's just a bad design for a GREAT stainless exhaust. Even the STOCK steup is better for clearance than the NRP.

Well this weekend while backing down a steep obstacle I pryed the NRP down and back.

So today, one minute with the hole saw and $34 at the muffler shop down the street...

Granted, if/when I crush the rear 1/4 the issue will re-present itself, but the bumper design that we are working on should take this into account. Now it's high and dry. No more NRP "dong" :D

Also, what about the issue of water ingress? Does this make it the new high point towards the back? If water is no issue where you ride, but I am wondering about that. Here I can have the whole exhaust under water for several minutes. I do like the clean look, let us know how it holds up.
I saw a DII at Uwharrie with this set up and I wondered the dame thing.
